Kobbie Boateng Mainoo, 19, has been a revelation in the ongoing English Premier League as he is now a starter for Manchester United.
Per Daily Mail, the English-born Ghanaian midfielder is set to be handed his first call-up for the England U-21 to ward off interest from Ghana.
Ghana recently showed keen interest in Kobbie Mainoo as they are preparing to woo the young midfielder to play for the Black Stars.
Kobbie Mainoo, born in Stockport to Ghanaian parents has been a regular for England U17, U18 and U19 between 2021 and 2023. The Manchester United midfielder is one of the young finest central midfielders in world football.
His partnership with Casemiro for Manchester United is blossoming as the Red Devils occupy 6th position in the English Premier League.
Mainoo has made 14 appearances for Manchester United having scored twice for the Red Devils.
