Asante Kotoko coach Paa Kwesi Fabin insists his team still isn’t a ‘finished material’ despite beating rivals Hearts of Oak 2-0 on Sunday in the first leg of their two-legged friendly.
Two goals from Burkina Faso marksman Sogne Yacouba was all that the Porcupine Warriors needed to secure a sweet bragging right over Hearts of Oak.
”It feels good anytime a team wins so it feels good. The last time we played Hearts, I had not found my rhythm because I was just going the team,” he told StarTimes in a post-match interview.
”Since that we have been training hard and we told the boys to play their normal game and you could see the confidence was there.
”It [the team] is still work in progress. We are not there yet. We are seeking to add one or two players to strengthen the team.”
