Asante head of communications Moses Antwi Benefo says the possible signing of former Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan will be beneficial to the club.
Benefo mentioned that the Africa all-time World Cup leading goalscorer will bring fans to the stadium and he is also a very marketable player who can bring more revenue to the club.
“We believe the time is now for Asamoah Gyan to join Asante Kotoko. He’ll be a crowd puller and also very marketable. The only left is the monetary aspect, hope to clear that aspect” Moses Antwi Benefo on Oyerepa FM.
“He has told us if we can meet his demands, he’s ready to play for Kotoko.” He added.
