Ghanaian playmaker Kudus Mohammed is set to make his return to club football after over a month on the sidelines as West Ham United prepare to face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
The 25-year-old was handed a red card during a fiery Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur in late October after a heated altercation with defender Micky van de Ven. While the initial suspension was for three matches, Kudus’ subsequent violent conduct led to an extended five-game ban.
During his suspension, the midfielder missed key fixtures against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, Everton, Newcastle United, and Arsenal. With his suspension now complete, Kudus is expected to feature in Julen Lopetegui’s squad for the Leicester encounter.
Kudus has made eight Premier League appearances this season, scoring two goals, and will be eager to reignite his form upon his return. His performance will be crucial as West Ham looks to climb the league table. Kudus remains a sought-after talent, with several top European clubs reportedly keeping a close watch on his progress.
