Ghana Football Association president, Kurt Okraku has spoken about the state of the Black Stars days after the team’s two international friendly games against Mexico and the United States of America.

The Black Stars under the tenure of Kurt Okraku have been giving below the bar performances despite qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana finished bottom in their group in the 2021 AFCON and 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar but the team’s disappointing percent performance against Mexico and the United States of America has finally forced Kurt Okraku to speak.

Kurt Okraku in a Facebook post said he is disturbed as a servant of the game bit firmly believes that the Black Stars will rise again.

“Our Black Stars must rise again but I’m a disturbed servant,” Kurt Okraku said in a post on Facebook cited by rainbowradio online.com.

The Black Stars in the October 2023 lost 2-0 to Mexico before being humiliated 4-0 by the United States of America three days later.

Ghana in November will take on Madagascar and Comoros in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
