Ghanaian actor and part-time footballer, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win claims no footballer based in Ghana is paid higher than he is.
He signed a contract with second-tier side New Edubiase but barely plays for the club. However, claims he is paid very well.
“The whole of Ghana, I’m the highest-paid footballer. I’m not talking about those playing internationally, I’m talking about those who are playing in the Ghana Premier League”, Lil Win stressed on Hitz FM.
Lil Win has signed a two-year contract with New Edubiase United, who are vying for promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
He is also the club’s ambassador and is currently out with an injury.
“I got injured in my last match so I’ve been out with an injury, I have played only 4 games,” he said.
