Libyan club Al Ta’awon have expressed keen interest in signing Ghana giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC midfielder Salifu Ibrahim, according to reports.
Ibrahim, formerly of Eleven Wonders, has been in outstanding form in the Ghana Premier League, earning recognition with four man of the match awards.
Al Ta’awon, eager to fortify their team, has pinpointed Ibrahim as a primary target to reinforce their midfield. With only three months remaining on his contract with Hearts of Oak, Ibrahim’s future at the club hangs in the balance, awaiting contract negotiations.
The Libyan club is ready to present Ibrahim with an enticing offer, which reportedly includes a monthly salary of $7,000 and a signing-on fee totaling $60,000. Under the guidance of new coach Aboubakar Ouattara, Ibrahim has emerged as a crucial player for Hearts of Oak, delivering stellar performances in the league’s latter stages.
His recent standout performance against Nsoatreman FC earned him yet another man of the match award, underscoring his significance to the team.
