Dutch coach Martin Koopman becomes the first casualty of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season as he is relieved of his coaching duties by Hearts of Oak on Tuesday, November 14.
In a statement, Hearts of Oak announced, “Accra Hearts of Oak has mutually parted ways with Coach Martinus Koopman,” as part of the club’s broader plan to restructure the technical team during the ongoing 2023-24 football season.
The club expressed gratitude to Coach Koopman for his services and wished him the best in his future endeavors. This decision comes merely three months after Koopman’s appointment by Hearts of Oak, marking him as the premier coach to be let go in the current Ghana Premier League season.
It’s noted that the Phobians will provide substantial compensation to Coach Martin Koopman.
