Hearts of Oak have recorded their first first 3 points of the new Ghana Premier League season after a slim victory over Nsoatrema.
The Phobians after losing to Real Temale United on match day 1 needed a response and they got it against a 10-man Nsoatrema FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak stared the game on a good note after taking the lead in the 3rd minute through attacker Kashala.
Nsoatrema were hopeful of getting a point but Philip Ofori’s red card in the 38th minute made their dream fade away.
Hearts of Oak created a couple of chances but couldn’t take advantage of it to increase their tally in the game but managed to prevent the away team from scoring in the game.
The Phobians are now 12th on the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League table.
