Real Tamale United bounced back from their FA Cup exit with an emphatic 5-1 victory over Bibiani Goldstars in a Ghana Premier League match on Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Issah Kuka, who is on loan from Hearts of Oak, bagged a hat-trick to power the hosts to their eighth win of the season. Manaf Umar opened the scoring for Real Tamale United in the 30th minute, while Kuka added the second from the penalty spot just before half-time.
Bibiani Goldstars reduced the deficit in the 55th minute through Abednego Tetteh’s header, but Kuka completed his hat-trick in the 60th and 62nd minutes. Stephen Dankwa Badu then scored a stunning goal in the 80th minute to seal the 5-1 win.
The victory takes Real Tamale United to the 11th position on the league table with 35 points, while Bibiani Goldstars drop to sixth with 38 points after match week 26.
