Karela United took the lead courtesy of Kharim Ayeh’s goal in the 45th minute, ending the first half in their favor.
However, Legon Cities dramatically improved their performance in the second half, resulting in a victory.
Francis Antwi emerged as the hero for Legon Cities, scoring two goals within eight minutes to lead his team to a comeback victory on the opening day of the Ghana Premier League.
Fabin, who joined Legon Cities ahead of the season, enjoyed a positive start to his tenure with this win.
Last season, Legon Cities finished 9th under Maxwell Konadu, and they have high hopes of improving their performance in the current season.
