Faustina Agyemang was the hero for Supreme Ladies as she secured a hard-fought victory in a closely contested derby against Dreamz Ladies in their second Group A match of the Women’s Premier Super Cup.
Dreamz Ladies dominated possession throughout the match, as expected from the youthful side, but struggled to convert their advantage into goals.
In the 76th minute, Faustina Agyemang broke the deadlock by calmly slotting the ball into the bottom corner after a rebound from Susana Konadu’s effort.
Dreamz Ladies had a chance in the 80th minute during a goal-line scramble, but Supreme Ladies’ goalkeeper, Olivia Asiamah, expertly cleared the danger.
Susana Konadu of Supreme Ladies was named the Player of the Match in recognition of her outstanding performance.
