Winger Maxwell Baakoh looks likely to stay at Asante Kotoko despite multiple reports of his imminent departure from the club.
Growing reports in the local media claimed the former Karela United player was offered a contract renewal by his current employers but considered it as one below his standards which has fueled reports of his exit with his contract running out soon.
However, Kumasi-based OTEC FM reports that Baakoh could stay at Asante Kotoko after several crucial talks with the coaching staff.
Asante Kotoko will begin their 2020/21 campaign with a fixture against Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium.
