Medeama SC has appointed Ibrahim Tanko as their new head coach, according to reports from Kumasi-based Kessben TV.
The highly respected tactician, renowned for his technical expertise and extensive experience, takes charge of the Tarkwa-based club at a pivotal moment in their quest to solidify their dominance in Ghanaian football and make a mark in continental competitions.
Tanko’s arrival comes as Medeama SC looks to build on recent successes and maintain strong performances across all competitions.
The club and its supporters are optimistic that the former Ghana international’s leadership will propel them to greater achievements both domestically and internationally.
Currently, Medeama sits seventh on the Ghana Premier League (GPL) table with 26 points after 18 matches, trailing league leaders Asante Kotoko by eight points.
The team is also in the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup, a competition they have won twice in recent years.
