Medeama SC, the Ghanaian champions, announced their new headline sponsor, Nguvu Mining Limited, in an event held in Accra on Friday. The sponsorship deal is valued at $300,000.
Nguvu Mining Limited takes over as the club’s main sponsor, replacing Gold Fields Ghana Limited, which had ended its partnership with the team.
Nguvu Mining Limited’s logo will prominently appear on Medeama’s iconic Mauve and Yellow jerseys for both the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Champions League campaigns. In addition to branding, the mining company will provide essential financial support to the club.
This sponsorship from Nguvu Mining comes at a crucial time for Medeama as they prepare to compete in the CAF Champions League group stage against strong opponents like African champions Al Ahly, CR Belouizdad, and Yanga SC.
It is expected to provide a significant boost to the club’s resources.
