Arsenal manager Mikkel Arteta has revealed that Ghana star Thomas Partey is eager to play for the Gunners this weekend in the Premier League.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder missed the first three defeats of Arsenal due to injuries and is eager to give back to the club says the Arsenal manager.
“He has been training in and out this week, his load had to be managed because it was the early stages of the injury, what he had, but he is pushing everyone like he always does and he wants to be involved,” said Arteta.
“We will make the decision at the weekend of what is best for him.”
The 27-year-old versatile midfielder missed the first three matches of the season after picking a knock in the friendly against Chelsea in pre-season.
After losing to Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City in the opening three fixtures, Partey returned to star in Arsenal’s first win of the campaign against Norwich City FC last weekend.
