Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus finally ended his long wait for a Premier League goal involvement in 2025, registering an assist in West Ham United’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at the London Stadium.
The 24-year-old set up Jarrod Bowen’s 68th-minute goal, marking his first Premier League goal contribution since December 2024. The assist ended a barren spell that saw Kudus go without a goal or assist in 12 consecutive league matches.
During that run, Kudus failed to contribute directly in games against Southampton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Brentford, Arsenal, Leicester, Newcastle, and Everton—a stretch that raised questions about his attacking output in recent weeks.
However, the Ghana international silenced his critics with a clever bit of play to help West Ham secure a valuable point against a tough Bournemouth side.
Kudus, who joined the Hammers from Ajax last summer, has been a consistent performer for Graham Potter’s team this season, earning praise for his dribbling, energy, and tactical intelligence.
His latest assist could be the confidence boost he needs as West Ham continue their push for European qualification.
