Mohammed Kudus delivered a crucial performance for West Ham United, scoring his third Premier League goal of the season to earn a valuable 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Ghanaian midfielder capitalized on a rebound from Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, who had saved a powerful strike from Jarrod Bowen, to head the ball into the net.
Earlier, Brighton had taken the lead six minutes into the second half, with Matts Wieffer capitalizing on a miscue by West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski to find the back of the net.
Kudus impressed throughout the match, starting on the left wing before switching to the right, where he posed a constant threat to Brighton’s Pervis Estupiñán. The 24-year-old played the entire game, demonstrating his versatility and impact.
Brighton also saw the introduction of Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey, who replaced Joel Veltman in the 68th minute.
