In his final press conference at the 2022 World Cup, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced that Morocco will host the FIFA Club World Cup in 2023.
At its most recent meeting, the FIFA Council, according to Infantino, gave the OK for the country in North Africa to host the seven-club competition. Morocco will host the competition from February 1 until February 11.
After hosting the event in 2013 and 2014, Morocco will host the Club World Cup for the third time this year.
The tournament will feature contests between the champions of the premier club championship on each of the seven continents.
After defeating Palmeiras 2-1 in Abu Dhabi in February 2022, Chelsea are the current champions.
