Despite experiencing a defeat against his former team, Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu, the head coach of Berekum Chelsea, reaffirmed his dedication and affection for his current squad.
Boadu, who previously guided Hearts of Oak to victory in five competitions during his tenure, parted ways with the club due to disagreements.
Following the recent match at the Golden City Park, Boadu emphasized his allegiance to Berekum Chelsea, stating, “That is the game. I am working for Chelsea so my heart is [for] Chelsea.”
Despite acknowledging his previous achievements with Hearts of Oak, Boadu expressed frustration over his team’s missed opportunities during the game, highlighting the importance of capitalizing on scoring chances in football.
Looking ahead, Berekum Chelsea is set to face Asante Kotoko in their upcoming fixture at the Golden City Park for Matchday 30.
