Black Stars debut captain Thomas Teye Partey believes the four-time AFCON champions will bounce back from the opening Group C defeat to Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The former Atletico Madrid midfield star showed his disappointed following Ghana’s 1-0 loss to the Atlas Lions, and has promised the team won’t gave up on their quest to win the tournament for the first time in 40 years.
“Not the result we wanted but we won’t give up,” he wrote on Facebook.

The Arsenal Star would have to perform beyond his abilities to help Black Stars beat Gabon and stand a chance of making it to the next stage of the competition.
Ghana will face Gabon on Friday, January 14 before engaging Comoros in the final Group C game on Tuesday, January 18.
