Ghana’s ‘Life Wire’ Joseph Painstil says the Black Stars will bounce back stronger and better after suffering defeat against Morocco in their opening Group C opener in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Belgium-based attacker believes Ghana will redeem its image in the remaining two matches of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
“Unfortunately we wanted a win but it turned out to be 1-0 by a mistake but this is football we don’t need to put our heads down,” he said in a post match interview.
“We have to keep going because we have two games ahead,” he added.
Ghana next face Gabon who defeated Comoros Island 1-0 to join Morocco joint top of Group C to stand a chance of reaching the last 16.
Nonetheless, the Gent man, Painstil, believes the team will redeem itself when they come up against The Panthers on Friday at 7pm.
“Everything is possible and we will do everything to redeem ourselves. The game against Gabon is a tough one but all we have to do is to give everything to our fans and Ghanaians,” he said.
Paintsil was undoubtedly Ghana’s best player against the Atlas Lions of Morocco and could be very vital to the success of the Black Stars.
