Director-General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has praised the collective effort of the agency and the support from government leadership in advancing sports development in Ghana.
He said, “The NSA, every department is chipping, as I said, the Minister has been great. The President, whom we all want to please and make proud because if he’s happy, it means policies are being followed through.”
Ampofo Ankrah emphasized that collaboration across all departments of the NSA is key to implementing sports policies effectively and achieving tangible results.
He noted that strong leadership from both the Minister and the President motivates the agency to maintain focus on strategic objectives and deliver on national sports initiatives.
The NSA Director-General expressed confidence that with continued teamwork and government backing, the authority will be able to implement meaningful programs to support athletes, facilities, and the broader sporting ecosystem in Ghana.
