Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Nsoatreman FC, has been released from the hospital today following the brutal attack and beating by suspected fans of Bofoakwa Tano.
This unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday after Nsoatreman FC secured a 1-1 draw against Bofoakwa Tano in a Week 11 game of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Coach Maxwell Konadu spent the night at the hospital and has now been discharged. A statement from Nsoatreman FC expressed gratitude to everyone who offered prayers for their coach during these challenging moments, saying, “Our coach Maxwell Konadu has been discharged from the hospital. We thank everyone who said a prayer for our coach during these difficult moments. Efiri Tete Amanaso.”
In the aftermath of the attack, the Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of one person involved in the assault on Coach Maxwell Konadu.
Efforts are underway to apprehend another suspect who is currently on the run, ensuring that they face legal consequences for their actions.
