Ghana skipper Andre Ayew has signed a six month deal with English Premiership side Nottingham Forest as a free agent.
Ayew, 33, terminated his contract with Qatari champions Al Sadd over the weekend and has now reunited with his former Swansea boss Steve Cooper.
“Steve Cooper is someone who knows me very well and knows how to work with me both on and off the pitch. We have a strong relationship, he’s a special coach”. Ayew stated after signing the deal
Nottingham Forest acquired Ayew based on his experience as they believe he can help them in their quest to maintain their topflight status.
Ayew has an option to renew his contract at the end of June 30, 2023.
