Asante Kotoko have officially announced the signing of 21-year-old left-back Patrick Asiedu from Berekum Chelsea on a three-year deal, tying him to the club until 2027.
Asiedu completed his move to the Kumasi-based club after passing his mandatory medical on Friday afternoon.
The young defender will compete with Sudan’s Esmat Abdulhamid for the left-back position in the upcoming season.
Asiedu made 23 appearances for Berekum Chelsea last season, providing one assist during his time with the team.
He is expected to bring his skills and experience to Kotoko’s backline, adding depth and competition to the team’s defensive options.
