Former Ashantigold midfielder Seth Osei has officially signed with Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak during the ongoing January transfer window.
The talented playmaker has been training with the Phobians since returning to Ghana after a stint with South African Premier League side TS Galaxy. Having impressed the technical team during training, Osei has secured a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club.
Osei’s addition comes at a crucial time for Hearts of Oak, following the departure of midfielder Saani Mohammed to Danish side AC Horsens. The 25-year-old brings significant experience, having made over 50 appearances in the Ghana Premier League for Eleven Wonders and Ashantigold, during which he scored seven goals.
The midfielder is expected to bolster the Phobians’ midfield options as they prepare for the second half of the league campaign. Hearts of Oak will look to Osei’s creativity and experience to strengthen their quest for the Ghana Premier League title.
