The highly-rated 19-year-old attacker has signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year, sealing a landmark transfer from FK Radnik Surdulica after passing his medical and finalising all contractual details.
Red Star have paid a fee in the region of 2.7 million Euros for Owusu, underlining the club’s confidence in his ability and long-term potential.
The Ghanaian forward is expected to link up immediately with his new teammates in Antalya, Turkey, where the club is currently holding its mid-season pre-season camp.
Owusu’s move follows an impressive rise in the Serbian Super Liga, capped by his inclusion in the Team of the First Round after a series of standout performances for Radnik.
He scored seven goals in 20 league appearances, while also making a strong impression with his work rate, pressing and intelligent movement in advanced areas.
Since joining Radnik in 2024 from the Ghanaian second-tier Owusu has adapted quickly to European football, establishing himself as a key figure and attracting interest from several clubs across Europe and Africa, including Young Boys, Samsunspor and Al Ahly.
