Thomas Partey stunner against Tottenham in the London derby is in contention for the EPL goal of the month for October.
Partey netted the opener at the Emirates against Spurs with a ferocious volley as the Gunners went on to win by three goals to one.
The goal by the Black Stars deputy skipper has been included in the EP,L shortlist of eight contenders for the prestigious goal of the month award. The others includes two long-range Kevin de Bruyne efforts against Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester City, Miguel Almiron’s excellent volley for Newcastle United against Fulham, and Chelsea’s Connor Gallagher’s strike against his former club Crystal Palace.
Also in the list is Anthony’s curler in the Manchester derby, Dwight McNeil finishing off a fine team move in Everton’s win against Palace, and Youri Tieleman’s stupendous goal against Wolves.
