Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has showered praises on Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori following his exploits against Swallows FC.
The Ghanaian shot stopper made a series of fantastic saves to keep Pirates in the game as they won the hard fought league opener by a goal to nothing.
“Ofori made a couple of super saves in the second half. We had a few transactions and chances to score in the second half. We should have definitely won by more than 1-0,” he stated.
Ofori will be hoping to keep his good form as he aims to be the first choice goalkeeper for Ghana ahead of the 2022 world cup in Qatar.
