Accra Hearts of Oak were 2-0 winners over Medeama SC during Week 29 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday as Salifu Ibrahim put in another stellar performance.
The former Eleven Wonders playmaker was voted man of the match following another dominant display against the Tarkwa-based side. Salifu opened the scoring in the 41st minute as he beat goalkeeper Frank Boateng from close range.
Indeed Boateng should have done better but Salifu would not care as the back of the net was shaken and it was the sort of breakthrough the Phobians were searching for.
After 28 games, Salifu has been voted man of the match on eight occasions whilst making as much as eight assists and scoring 4 goals.
There is no doubt the talented footballer is one of the serious contenders to win the prestigious Player of the season award.
