Portuguese outfit CD Nacional have completed the acquisition of Ghanaian forward Arvin Appiah in the ongoing transfer window.

The 23-year-old joins the newly-promoted top-flight side on season-long loan from UD Almeria.

Appiah will feature for the White and Black until the end of the 2024-25 football campaign.

He is expected to play a huge role for CD Nacional who are keen to make impact in the upcoming campaign.

The highly-rated forward has already started training with the team as they gear up preparation for the new campaign.

“Striker Arvin Appiah is the latest addition to CD Nacional. The 23-year-old player arrives on loan from Almería (Spain) and has signed a one-season contract.”

“Appiah has already trained this morning with the team, in Paredes, under the guidance of coach Tiago Margarido.” A statement from the club reads.

Appiah could secure a permanent move to the club if he manages to impress the technical team.

His current contract with parent club, Almeria is expected to expire in the summer of 2026.

Appiah is eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite playing for the England national youth teams.
