With just two matches remaining in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, Matchday 33 promises a dramatic weekend packed with decisive fixtures that could shape the title race, top-four battle, and relegation survival.

At the bottom end of the table, Nations FC host Vision FC at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in a crucial relegation showdown. Nations FC have slipped into the danger zone after recent setbacks but remain strong at home, having lost only once all season. Vision FC arrive after a morale-boosting win over Karela United but must overcome inconsistent away form to boost their survival hopes.

League leaders Medeama SC will look to tighten their grip on the title when they welcome Heart of Lions to Tarkwa. Medeama are in strong home form and lead the table by two points, though Heart of Lions will take confidence from their recent unbeaten record at the venue.

Already relegated Eleven Wonders FC face another difficult test against in-form Berekum Chelsea FC, who are pushing for a top-half finish. Chelsea have won four of their last five matches but are still searching for their first away victory of the campaign.

Aduana Stars FC continue their push for a top-four finish when they host Young Apostles FC in Dormaa. Aduana’s strong home record makes them favourites, but Young Apostles arrive with renewed confidence after back-to-back wins that have eased their relegation worries.

One of the standout fixtures sees Dreams FC host reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars FC in a clash with major implications for both the title race and top-four ambitions. Dreams boast a strong home record and a favourable head-to-head advantage, while Gold Stars remain in contention for consecutive league titles despite recent struggles away from home.

Bechem United FC take on Asante Kotoko SC in a key top-four battle. Kotoko are building momentum after a recent win, but Bechem’s strong home record against the Porcupine Warriors adds intrigue to the fixture.

At Samreboi, FC Samartex 1996 host Accra Hearts of Oak SC in another high-stakes encounter with title implications. Hearts of Oak, the league’s strongest away side, must win to keep their fading title hopes alive, while Samartex aim to protect their impressive home record.

Finally, Karela United FC welcome Swedru All Blacks FC in a crucial relegation clash, with both sides fighting to secure their top-flight status.
