Ghanaian midfielder, Edmund Addo, has shared how his loan move to Radnicki Nis has been instrumental in restoring his confidence on the pitch.
Initially joining Serbian club Red Star Belgrade in 2023 with high hopes of advancing his career, Addo faced challenges in securing regular playing time, leading to a lack of confidence.
However, last month, he secured a loan move to Serbian side Radnicki Nis, where he has been able to enjoy consistent game time, revitalizing his self-assurance.
Reflecting on his experience, Addo remarked, “Yes, last year at Red Star Belgrade was difficult due to some minor injuries. On loan at Radnicki Nis, I’ve had many opportunities for more playing time, and it has also boosted my confidence massively.”
Addo’s resurgence comes after his recent appearances in Ghana’s friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda. With renewed confidence, he now sets his sights on working even harder to earn a spot in the Black Stars lineup for the upcoming June assignments.
