Black Stars No. goalkeeper Richard Ofori has said goodbye to his teammates at Maritzburg United amid his eminent move to Orlando Pirates.

Richard Ofori is expected to complete the switch to Orlando Pirates later this week, SPORTSworldGhana.com understands.

Maritzburg United confirmed that the club has accepted an offer from the Black and Whites Eagles last week for the 26-year-old who is expected to join on a three-year contract after reaching an agreement on personal terms.

The South African giants have already) parted ways with goalkeeper Joris Delle to pave the way for the new goalkeeper’s arrival from KwaZulu-Natal.

Eric Tinkler’s side was knocked out of the quarterfinals of the MTN8 competition at the hands of Kaizer Chiefs, this without the services of Ofori, whose number one spot was taken over by Bongani Mpandle this afternoon at the FNB Stadium.
