Sassuolo are keen to sign Ghanaian enforcer Godfred Donsah from fellow Serie A side Bologna in the coming 2020 summer transfer window.
Donsah, 23, played on loan at Belgian Jupiler League outfit Cercle Brugge this season but now he has reverted to his parent club with his future yet to be determined.
Manager Sinisa Mihaijlovic has already stated that a decision to keep the Ghanaian youth international at Bologna for next season would be based on his output at preseason though he is opened to any potential move.
Lecce were the first club to express interest in Donsah ahead of the coming window but Sassuolo have joined the fray as they seem him as a perfect replacement for Alfred Duncan who left for Fiorentina last summer.
Donsah’s contract with Bologna ends on June 30, 2022 and he has his buy out clause pegged at 3 Million Euros.
