Saudi Arabian football powerhouse Al Ittihad Ladies have secured the services of Ghanaian midfielder Patience Peterson Kundok on a one-year contract. The talented midfielder joins the Tigers from Turkish side Trabzonspor, bringing with her valuable experience from playing in Europe.
Patience Peterson-Kundok previously played for Ampem Darkoa Ladies in Ghana before moving to Turkey in 2022, where she featured for clubs including Hakkariagucu and Amed. Her arrival at Al Ittihad is expected to strengthen the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
The 24-year-old expressed her excitement on social media, thanking God for the opportunity to join her new club. Though she has represented Ghana at the U17 and U20 levels, Peterson-Kundok is yet to make her debut for the senior Black Queens squad.
Al Ittihad’s announcement highlighted the midfielder’s international experience and praised her potential contribution to the club’s ambitions.
