Ghana’s winger, Solomon Asante’s goal in the USL Championship on Saturday against Tacoma Defiance FC has been nominated for the goal of the week gong.
The 30-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward scored a screamer in his team’s victory over the New Boys in the Western Conference League from a very long range.
Asante’s goal is his fifth league goal of the season for Phoenix Rising Stars FC in seven appearances in the second tier league in America.
The two-time Best Player in the USL Championship goal is among five strikes this weekend which has been shortlisted for the Goal-Of-The-Week award.
