Spanish La Liga side Valencia CF are itching closer to signing Ghanaian international midfielder Mubarak Wakaso, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.

The Ghanaian midfield-enforcer has attracted interest from the club and are working on signing him up this winter transfer window which ends in Fabruary.

Valencia boss Jose Bordalas worked with the player at Elche and is eager to bring him from China as a free agent to bolster his squad.

According to our reliable sources, Valencia have already made contacts with the Ghanaian and waiting for him to come back from the Africa Cup of Nations tournament to completes the deal.

He previously played for clubs like, Villarreal, Elche, Espanyol UD Alaves, Granada and Las Palmas all in Spain.
