Ghanaian forward Sadat Karim hit target for Halmstads BK in their 4-2 away win in the Sweden Superettan on Saturday afternoon.
The former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Sadat Karim netted his team’s fourth goal of the match to inflict a painful defeat on Abdul Fatawu Safiu’s Trelleborgs.
Emil Tot Wikstrom scored a seventh minute penalty for the visitors who would not be playing in the second tier in Sweden next year but the hosts leveled two minutes later through Fredrik Liverstam.
Mikael Boman scored the second goal for the away team on the 20th minute mark and Wikstrom added the third goal three minutes later to bag his brace.
Ten minutes before half time, Sadat made it 4 – 1 to the Blue and Blacks before the the first half whilstle was blown by the referee.
Mattias Hakansson scored a consolation for his side in the 71st minutes of the match to make it 2-4 as Trelleborgs dropped to the relegation playoffs spot.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian striker, Sadat has 10 assists this season with six goals in the Sweden Superettan from 28 league matches and would be playing in the Swedes Allsvenskan next year.
