German fourth-tier side SV Babelsberg 03 have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of German-Ghanaian forward Jesaja Herrmann just days before the start of the new campaign.
The 26-year-old attacker joins Babelsberg from FC Bocholt and has committed his future to the club until 2028 as they look to add more quality and depth to their frontline.
Herrmann arrives with a wealth of experience gained across different European leagues, having featured in Belgium’s top division, Luxembourg’s football system and Germany’s 3. Liga during his career.
The powerful forward began his development at the renowned academy of Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg, where he also earned international recognition by representing Germany at youth level. He made 27 appearances across Germany’s junior national teams, showcasing his potential at an early stage.
After progressing through the ranks at Wolfsburg, Herrmann continued his career with several clubs, gaining valuable experience and developing into a physically strong and versatile attacking player.
SV Babelsberg chairman Paul Bachmeyer expressed his excitement about the signing, describing Herrmann as a player who brings power, athleticism and technical ability to the squad.
The club believes his experience and physical presence will provide a new dimension to their attacking play as they aim for a successful season.
Herrmann will immediately join his new teammates as Babelsberg intensify preparations for the upcoming campaign, with the forward expected to play a key role in the club’s attacking plans.
