Championship side Swansea City have also entered the race to sign Ghana international Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, submitting an enquiry to Crystal Palace over a potential January loan deal.
Rak-Sakyi has been in fine form this season during his loan spell in Turkey with Rizespor, becoming a regular starter and contributing important goals since making his debut in September.
The winger has struggled to break into Crystal Palace’s first team, and increased competition for places could further limit his chances in the Premier League. This has opened the door for a possible move away in January.
Swansea City see Rak-Sakyi as a player who can add goals and attacking energy as they look to climb into the Championship play-off places in the second half of the season.
This January transfer window is also the first opportunity for Swansea’s new head coach to reshape his squad, and Rak-Sakyi is believed to be high on the club’s list.
A final decision now rests with Crystal Palace, who must choose between keeping the Ghana international in Turkey or allowing a return to English football.
