Glyn Binkin, the agent of Teboho Mokwena has confirmed that the contract talks between his agent and Mamelodi Sundowns are still not closer to a conclusion.
“We have been in discussions and negotiations with Sundowns since November, and sadly are no closer to finalising a new deal, which has led to a lot of frustration and disappointment for both myself and my client in this regard,” said Glyn Binkin.
It has been more than a month since Sportsworldghana’s Amakye Ansah reported that Mamelodi Sundowns and Teboho Mokwena’s entourage are still in a deadlock regarding the renewal of the Bafana Bafana midfielder’s contract even though his current contract will expire in June 2026. His agent has confirmed officially that his client and the Masandawana’s negotiations are yielding no results.
Glyn Binkin’s words suggest that Teboho Mokwena might not be playing for the Brazilians next season even though he’s still under contract.
Al Ahly has been courting the 27-year-old midfielder for a while and is ready to make a move if Mokwena and his camp give them the green light.
