Ghanaian midfielder Mohamed Abu says joining Norwegian side Vålerenga a very simple decision for him to take.
The 26-year-old midfielder initially joined Vålerenga in August on loan from MLS club Columbus Crew where he made a great impression on both fellow players, coaches and fans of the club.
He now joins the Oslo pride, and will wear the royal blue suit until summer 2022.
”The decision was very simple. I have been well received by everyone in the club and this is a big day for my family and me. I’ll enjoy this and spend every day getting better playing to help the club achieve its goals,” says Abu.
“I think this can be a fruitful collaboration for all parties. Abu thrives very well here, and he strengthens our team. The 6th position that Abu is wearing is the most important part of my playing style,” the club’s manager Ronny Deila said.
