Arsenal were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium after Brentford battled back to earn a point in a tightly contested Premier League match.
Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey gave the Gunners the lead with a well-taken goal after being set up by teammate Declan Rice. Partey‘s strike brought the home crowd to life, as Arsenal looked to build momentum in their push for the top of the table.
However, the visitors responded with determination. Brentford’s Yoane Wissa found the equalizer, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to bring the score level. Despite several efforts from both sides in the final minutes, neither team was able to find a winner.
The result leaves Arsenal with more work to do as they continue their pursuit of Premier League glory, while Brentford walk away with a hard-earned point.
