Salifu Ibrahim will be a free agent at the end of the current campaign as Hearts of Oak has not been able to reach an agreement with the talented left-footed midfielder and his entourage.
News emanating from Sudan says that the 23-year-old Salifu Ibrahim is wanted by Sudanese outfit Al Merreikh.
It is believed that official proposals have been sent to Accra Hearts of Oak to announce their formal interest in the former Techiman Eleven Wonders midfielder.
Salifu Ibrahim, nicknamed Di Maria has been with Accra Hearts of Oak since the 2020-21 season. He is an integral part of the current Hearts of Oak set-up as he has contributed a combined 11 goals and assists.
He has won the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup with Phobia.
It remains unknown as to which team he will sign for in the summer with many teams ready and willing to splash the cash to secure his signature.
