Reading head coach, Paul Ince, has tipped Ghanaian midfielder Tyrese Fornah to make it to the top of football.
This is after the 22-year-old found the net for the English Championship side during their 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Saturday.
In his post-match conference, Ince was pleased with the goal and predicted future success for the youngster.
“No, honestly, it was a wonderful strike. As a midfield player, you need to score goals. And he’s done that,” Ince stated.
“He plays in my position and he’s listening and learning. He’s still only 22 and he’s a great kid to have in the changing room. And I love him. I’m always on Tyrese’s case because when I was a young midfield, Bryan Robson and Mark Hughes were onto me!”
“And I know he can be a top, top player. He showed against Blackburn what a talent he can be if he does the right things. And again against Middlesbrough, he has shown what a good player he already is. And he thoroughly deserved his goal.
Ince added that he will keep Fornah’s feet on the ground.
“But I’ve also got to keep his feet on the ground because he’s got a long way to go. He won’t be getting carried away, that’s for sure.”
Fornah is currently on loan from Nottingham Forest.
