Ghana Black Satellites head coach Abdul Karim Zito has lauded the output of the foreign based players in his team though he believes they can even do better.
Schalke 04 winger Joselpho Barnes and Club NXT’s Eric Appiah Ansu are the two foreign players whose clubs released them for the tournament.
Barnes and Appiah all started against Tanzania on Tuesday with the former netting a goal in the 89th minute as Ghana raced to a convincing 4-0 win.
“The performance of the foreign players has been good. There is more room and hopefully they will even do more.” Zito told Sportsworldghana.com
The two players are likely to start again on Friday when Ghana face Morocco in the second game in Group C.
