The talented midfielder raced into the box before sliding the ball past goalkeeper Simon Eastwood in post for Oxford United in the 11th minute.
The Ghanaian start was unplayable in the heart of midfield as he combined perfectly with former Chelsea star Josh McEachran.
Matt Taylor restored parity for Oxford United in the 65th minute before Mark Sykes scored what proved to be the winner for the U’s with eleven minutes to go after he pounced on a back pass from Josh McEachran.
