VIDEO: Kurt Okraku files nomination to re-run for GFA President

Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku, the incumbent President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has officially submitted his nomination for a second term in the highly esteemed football position.

With unwavering commitment to the constitutional obligations of the association, the esteemed football administrator completed the nomination process at 10:09 am on Friday. Characterizing the process as “smooth and well-organized,” Okraku lodged his nomination at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association.

His submission was attended by nearly one hundred delegates, comprising representatives from Premier League clubs, Regional Football Association Chairmen, Division One League clubs, and Women’s Premier League clubs.

This formal nomination on Friday signifies President Kurt E.S. Okraku’s willingness to stand for a second consecutive term as the president of the nation’s football governing body.

Addressing the media subsequent to filing his nomination, President Okraku conveyed his gratitude to the assembled delegates for their unwavering support during the nomination process. He pledged his unrelenting dedication to further enhance the prospects of Ghana Football, promising to redouble his efforts to redefine its trajectory.
